Description
The P2P Military Sling is the same two-point sling as the P2P QD/Hook Sling. The sling comes with (front) one QD or hook sling swivel. The front sling swivel needs to be 1,1/4 ” (32mm) wide. The rear sling swivel can be smaller.
The P2P Military two-point sling has extra length on the rear part of the sling. This allows you to use the sling “the other way” (watch video below). Because of the extra length when you turn the P2P Military Sling into a single point sling, the padding of the sling is in the right place. You need to get a 2 to 1 point adapter to the sling to turn it to a single point sling. The single point style is useful in CQB type of use.
Several color options e.g. multicam black, multicam tropic, M05. Now also snow camo sling / winter camo sling M05 and MultiCam Alpine sling is available.
The P2P two-point slings have the smoothest rabid length adjusting available. You can fast adjust the sling length on the front part of the sling. You can also adjust the sling length on the rear part. The fast adjusting range from the shortest to the longest is 40cm.
You can use the same P2P Military two-point sling with traditional hunting weapons. Just change the front sling swivel to a traditional sling swivel and the rear sling swivel to FinSling Rear Adapter.
The webbing differs between the P2P Military and P2P QD/Hook Sling. The webbing in P2P Military Sling is Mil spec Nir protected webbing. The webbing is also made in Finland. The webbing is 30mm wide. The P2P Military Sling is hand made in Finland. The sling is very simple. The sling consists of just one piece of webbing. The resilient padding is sewed to the sling.

What is “the other way” to use a two-point sling?
Attach the front end of the two-point sling close to the middle point of the rifle and the rear end of the sling to the other side in the middle. You can attach the rear part to QD end plate as well. Then run the sling under your dominant arm. Using two-point sling like this you can do everything on this sling position. It´s easy to put the rifle on your back and get the rifle back to the front side.
If you have a front heavy rifle, the other way will help you with the front heaviness. Adjust the sling tight and lean against the sling. This stabilizes the rifle, and you can keep your sights on target ten times longer and shoot accurate single shots.
You must try if the other way works with your platform. The sling attachment points on your platform might not be suitable for the other way and then your rifle tends to turn vertical. The other way is delicate to balance. If the rifle hangs normally on your chest when you don´t touch it, then it`s ok. If the rifle turns vertical, you must change some parts to make it work.
